The community of Melbourne mourns the loss of Faith Louise Jenkins, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, who passed away on February 20, 2026, at the age of 47. Faith was born in St. Charles, Illinois, to Roger Kirby and Patricia Smith. Her life was defined by love, compassion, and devotion to her family and community. She was a cherished member of St. Luke Lutheran Church and contributed meaningfully to her work as a pharmacy technician, helping and caring for those around her with dedication and kindness. Faith’s character reflected a gentle strength and an unwavering commitment to uplifting others.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roger Kirby, and her grandparents, August Rehbein and Tom and June Moody. She leaves behind a devoted husband, Dan Jenkins; children Madison Kirby (Jacob Hornsby), Stella Jenkins, Trent Jenkins, Liam Jenkins, Zinnia Jenkins, and Zoey Jenkins; sisters Tera (Graham) Cox, Angela (Ryan) Arlinghaus, and Jacki Miller (James Sparks); grandmother Jacqueline Rehbein; uncle August “Butch” Rehbein; and beloved grandchildren Evelyn and Olivia Hornsby. Faith’s love and guidance touched every member of her family, creating a legacy of warmth, joy, and togetherness that will be remembered for generations.

Faith’s life was a beacon of light to all who knew her. She had an innate ability to bring joy and sunshine into any room, and her positive energy, radiant smile, and generous spirit left a lasting impression. Her family encourages all who attend her visitation and memorial to honor her vibrant personality by wearing shades of yellow, orange, and red—the colors of sunshine that so perfectly reflected her essence.

A visitation will be held at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cold Spring on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with the service beginning at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be private. Cooper Funeral Home is honored to serve the Jenkins family during this time.
